Muttaburrasaurus

Muttaburrasaurus facts

This large and unusual ornithopod from Australia had an expanded nose area, similar to a hadrosaur's and a thumb claw that was like an iguanodont's . It also had shearing teeth unlike other ornithopods. This mixture of unusual features had made it difficult to place "Muttaburrasaurus" in any of the known ornithopod families..
