Hypsilophodon



Although the small plant eater lived in the early Cretaceous , it had features of dinosaur from millions of years earlier . By the beginning of the Cretaceous , most plant eating dinosaur had only three or four fingers but "Hypsilophodon" had five. Also by this time , most plant eaters had beaks which had replaced teeth, but Hypsilophodon a living fossil in its own time.
