Deinonychus facts 

This dinosaur was one of the theorpods used by Professor John Ostrom , in the 1970 s, to show that dinosaurs were active and agile , now slow and cold blooded as they had been portrayed for more than 100 years. "Deinonychus" was also feathered . The famous sickle-claw on its foot could rotate through 300 degrees. Deinonychus  fossils have been found lying alongside the carcass of Tenotosaurus , one of its favorite preys..
