Chasmosaurus

Chasmosaurus facts

Chasmosaurus belongs to the group of dinosaurs that includes Triceratops . The brow horns over its eye and nose were long . The frill was also long because it had to counter balance the face where the jaw muscles began-and it made a good threatening display . So many different looking skulls have been found that many "Chasmosaurus" species were named . However these differences were probably due to health age environment and gender . Plant-eating dinosaurs often traveled in the herds in search of food . Chasmosaurus is seen here with another North America dinosaurs the crested Corythosaurus . Each herd had more than 1000 dinosaurs
