Byronosaurus



This agile meat eater could only attack small animals because it was slight . It weighted only 11 pounds ( 5 kg ) and was about 17 inches high . Its small thin teeth were unlike the tick saw like teeth of its relatives, the troodnotids. This limmited Byronosaurus's diet to soft bodied animals such as birds small mammals insects and frogs. Its snout was long like a wolfhound which helped protect its eyes during a fight
