"Sand spider" buries itself in the sand and strikes by ambushing the unlucky prey that wanders too closely 
Although it has poor sense of direction compared to other spiders it can survive without any food or water for up to one year 
Its bite is among the most venomous and contains a potent venom with a powerful hemolytic effect which can result in blood clots through out the body bleeding from the skin and eventually death
