Length : Up to 16 inches

Description:
It has an unusual morphology and are manly known for their bright red lips . Bat fish are generally not good swimmers and they use their highly adapted pectoral fins to walk on the ocean floor . They can be found at depths of 11 to 250 ft and like other angler fish , the red lipped bat fish has a structure on its head known as illicium.
