Scientific Name: "Monodon Monoceros"

Description:

The Narwhal is an arctic whale that possesses a large tusk from a protruding canine tooth. While some have no tusk , some have up to two tusks that can grow as long as 10 feet. Male Narwhals rubbing their tusks against each other is thought to be a method of communicating information about characteristics of the waters each has traveled through.
