Description:
Also known as the banjo rays it can be found along the eastern and southern coasts of Australia . Fiddler rays use their jaws and feed on bottoms Shellfish, crabs and worms. They are known to scavenge from fish traps and are benthic in nature , favoring shallow, sandy bays, rocky reefs and sea grass beds. Fiddler rays are generally harmless and can easily be approached by divers
