The Black Swallower fish is a very common and widespread ocean fish that lives in depths of up to 10000 feet below the surface, where food is scarce and sometimes the only meal available is one that's bigger than its entire body. Despite its frame, it routinely feeds on bony fishes by swallowing them whole; even gobbling up prey twice its length and ten times its mass with ease .This is possible dew to its greatly distensible stomach.
